(FTF) Construction Surveillance Technician (TS/SCI w Poly)

The Kenjya-Trusant Group is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support onsite construction of a Government facility in the Northern California area. 

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  TS/SCI with Polygraph 
NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award

Duties

Perform inspections and provide inspection reports, to include pictures, at the following construction milestones:

  • Concrete foundation, to include all pipe stub-ups through foundation
  • Walls being constructed (framing, outer layer, insulation, inner first layer, and inner second layer)
  • Painting from true floor to true ceiling
  • HVAC installs, man-bars/inspection ports
  • Penetrations into SCIF (dielectric break or grounding)
  • Door installations
  • Roof-access point(s)
  • Roll-up door and drainage grate/piping inside warehouse
  • Power transformers
  • Alarm sensors/panels
  • Access control devices
  • Painting above the HVAC ducts
  • Filling in the voids above the track for walls at true ceiling
  • Sealing around penetrations (HVAC, pipes, conduit sleeves)
  • Surface mounting of power & signal lines on SCIF perimeter
  • Potential travel; any contract travel requirement outside a 50-mile radius will be reimbursable

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years demonstrated experience in tactical (i.e. single specific projects) construction security technician support within IC, NRO , DoD, or Commercial Industry
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of demonstrated experience in tactical (i.e. single specific projects) construction security technician support within IC, NRO , DoD, or Commercial Industry

Desired Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or Math field
  • Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tool
  • Experience in schedule analysis
  • Project Management Institute’s PMP or equivalent project management certification
