(DDI) Project Director

The Kenya-Trusant Group is hiring a Project Director to join our team to provide administrative and related institutional support services to the USAID Office of Acquisition and Assistance, M/OAA/Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI) with ancillary support to other USAID offices, and missions worldwide.

Job Description

  • The Project Director should have supervisory experience, experience as a liaison between contractor and client, and knowledge of foreign assistance programs.
  • The Project Director must have strong organizational, communication, writing and analytical skills to effectively interact with USAID program and contracting officials, and must be knowledgeable of the U.S. Government Standardized Regulations, U.S. government budgetary and financial reporting requirements, and have knowledge of the U.S. government security clearance processes.
  • The Project Director will provide overall strategic direction and management oversight, and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring all activities performed meet contract requirements
  • The Project Director will be the primary point-of-contact for the USAID COR for all matters pertaining to the contract.
  • The Project Director must be accessible and available full-time during USAID business hours (40 hours a week) to meet the COR to resolve any issues as necessary.


  • Must have current Secret clearance.
  • A minimum of seven (07) years of experience in human resources management. Experience working in the developing country context is desirable
  • A demonstrated track record of success in managing many people toward the achievement of shared goals is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of business, administration, management, human resources, project management, public administration, or similar. Master’s Degree preferred.
