Technical Lead (5G Testbed) / Navy

Kenjya-Trusant has an opening for a Technical Lead to support the Navy 5G Smart Warehouse Prototype at Naval Supply Base San Diego. The objectives of this effort are to 1) increase the efficiency and fidelity of Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) logistic operations, including the identification, recording, organization, storage, retrieval, and transportation of materiel and supplies and 2) Create a proving ground for testing, refining, and validating emerging 5G (NR) enabled technologies.

POSITION:  Technical Lead Level 5  

This Opportunity is in BID status.  Estimated award and start of contract is 4th Quarter 2020.

  • Provide technical leadership regarding the design and deployment of a 5G network Testbed prototype 
  • Develop strategic plans around 5G with key stakeholders 
  • Produce End-to-end Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for an automated warehouse
  • Establish and maintain a System Requirements Traceability Matrix (STRM)
  • Develop open standard format requirements
  • Document and use open, standards-based software and hardware interfaces
  • Implement a model-based engineering approach; provide direct access to the Integrated Model Environment (IME); produce Model artifacts
  • Develop a System Architectural model
  • Develop an Architectural Design Traceability Matrix (ADTM)
  • Deliver a Spectrum Supportability Risk Assessment
  • Support design of 5G wireless network; produce system design drawings
  • Present and gain government design approval
  • Produce and execute an experimentation test plan
  • Conduct integrated system demonstrations
  • Attend monthly In-Process-Reviews (IPRs) with the Government team
  • Attend meetings, support conferences and working groups
  • Obtain Government team approval for and deliver Software Version Documents (SVD) for software releases
  • Conduct security review
  • Prepare and/or provide updates to requisite deliverables to include:
    • Bi-weekly status reports
    • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
    • Systems Engineering Management Plan(SEMP)
    • Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
  • Deliver all software, hardware, infrastructure, and documentation at the completion of Testbed phase
  • Experience with design, testing and implementation of application technologies and systems utilizing smart warehouse 5G smart technologies
  • Agile project management experience

  • B.S. Degree in System Engineering, Network Engineering, Communications Engineering, Software Engineering
  • Minimum 10-15 years of 4G/5G wireless experience
