The Kenjya-Trusant Group is seeking a System Engineer Level III to support an existing contract in the Fort Meade, MD area.
Clearance Requirement - Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Review and update existing CAO (Y24) Program engineering artifacts, (to include CAO ERB & CCB required documentation, and MA & E&E SharePoint sites
For new artifacts, provide draft artifact (Microsoft Word format) via email to the Government Capability Lead or PM four (4) weeks after Government tasking.
Complete and submit Government Capability Lead/PM approved final release of SOPs and COOP to the Configuration Action Board (CAB) in coordination with MA and E&E PMs. These efforts will require document finalization based on accepted quality control processes, formatting and version control of the documents based on approved templates, reviewing, and editing for grammatical errors.
Collaborate with government SMEs, retrieving and determining appropriate technical content Operational SMEs in the development of Standard Operating Procedures, work-flow diagrams, and associated work instructions to complete
Completed documents will be submitted to the Government Capability lead/SME (using Microsoft Word format and Government provided templates), for review and delivery as a program artifact.
Experience in writing AP Documentation and Briefings.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required
Labor Category Required Experience: The Level 3 System Engineer (SE) shall possess the following capabilities:
Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
