Job Description: The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC (KTG) is seeking a candidate to fill the role of Senior Leadership Course Mentor in support of the Department of State's Foreign Service Institute Leadership and Management School. Mentors will serve as the senior advisor and subject matter expert to the executive leadership seminars and programs, and provides expert guidance to course participants regarding their role, and to seminar managers regarding course content and flow. The mentor makes specific recommendations for how to improve the seminar, and is expected to attend
designated sessions, and participate in after action reviews.
• Served successfully as a career and/or political ambassador, preferably at multiple posts,
and is able to communicate effectively to seminar participants about the role of Chief of
Mission, operational responsibilities, and working with multiple stakeholders including
Washington, host government, and internal mission entities.
• Served successfully as a Deputy Chief of Mission or Principal Officer and able to
communicate effectively to seminar participants about the role of Deputy Chief of
Mission or Principal Officer, operational responsibilities, and working with multiple
stakeholders including Washington, host government, and internal mission entities.
• Served successfully as a Senior Executive in the Department of State.
• Demonstrated mastery in the fields of diplomacy, foreign affairs and international
relations as well as executive leadership, management, operations, and security.
