POSITION:  Senior Systems Engineer (Program Management Support)
LOCATION:  Annapolis Junction/Fort Meade, MD 20701
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH (must have prior to applying)

This Sr. Systems Engineer (SE) position is in support of a Program Office acquiring new Cyber capabilities.  The SE will provide Systems Engineering and Program Management Support to Program Milestones and design reviews, in addition to business process reengineering support. The SE will also perform risk assessment to the programs, identifying probability of occurrence and consequences IAW program documented risk assessment plan.

The Senior SE will provide Systems Engineering support to the Engineering and Architecture Review Board, ensuring System Requirements are complete, correct and verifiable, while assisting in the definition of verifiable Requirements criteria.  The SE will collect and maintain data necessary to support Strategic Planning, and will create any of the following technical documentation, as required:
·     IMP and IMS
·     Requirements Documentation
·     Information Support Plan
·     Architecture documentation
·     AoA
·     RVTM (Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix)
·    Programmatic Analyses
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus at least twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience OR
  • A Master’s degree in a qualified Engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of general systems engineering experience OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty four (24) years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable in lieu of degree.

  • Portfolio/Program/Project Management experience
  • Acquisition knowledge/documentation experience.
  • This position requires strong technical and communication skills. Successful candidates will be great communicators, good listeners, comfortable with change and uncertainty, big-picture oriented, and technically proficient.
  • Expertise in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

PREFERRED INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES (desired, but not mandatory):
  • Experience working with Cyber programs.
