POSITION:  Junior Systems Engineer (Requirements Analysis)
LOCATION:  Annapolis Junction/Fort Meade, MD 20701
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:  TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH (must have before applying)

  • Analyze user requirements to develop system requirements specifications and required functionality;
  • Derive from the system requirements an understanding of stakeholder needs and interactions with User Experience resources, functions that may be logically inferred and implied as essential to system effectiveness;
  • Assist with the capture of systems requirements, functional requirements, and their allocation to individual tools and systems;
  • Participate in system requirement definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle
  • Incorporate new plans, design, and systems into ongoing development operations
  • Develop scenarios (threads) and an Operational Concept that describes the interactions between the system, user, and environment that satisfies operational, support, maintenance, and disposal needs
  • Capture the interface designs in a common interface control format and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or s related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience.
  • Domain knowledge of the SIGINT system, knowledge capture, and requirements analysis
  • Ability to evaluate systems for potential requirement overlap and requirement alignment.
  • Experience with systems engineering processes that support planning, scheduling and managing several simultaneous efforts in a wide range of technologies
  • Experience in collaborating with peer organizations to overcome barriers to success and create shared solutions.
  • Intelligence Community (IC) experience
  • A successful candidate must be a self-starter, have a high level of attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills
